This past week I finally got homesick. On top of that, the schoolwork is starting to get tough. I had a bit of a misunderstanding about when something was due on Wednesday which caused a bit of stress, and I have my first essay due tomorrow(en español of course). Yesterday we had our first excursion for my mountaineering class, and I did enjoy it. I didn't think about the fact that I am scared of heights when I signed up for a *mountain*eering class, so I had a few difficulties with the tasks involved. Any of you who have ever climbed stone mountain have an idea of what I am like :) It was a good day overall though. I particularly like the mountaineering class because it gives me a chance to socialize with Chileans- and I don't have to write essays for that class. Anyway, this is going to have to be all for this entry because I have to go write my essay. I'm in starbucks so I can feel a little back at home while I write in spanish though. Be on the lookout, I'm getting started on writing a chilean food entry!
