Where´s the guide?
In the afternoon we met with Mark again at downtown, this time we went to visit a lot of places in the city... while driving its streets i liked very much the atmosphere but must important: the architecture... i love the houses... they looked all so clean, painted on nice colors and i also liked very much how the city is organized. I´ve seen a lot of cities in many countries, not all of them were even as big as San Francisco and they were just a mess... while seeing them from the plane looked all so messy without any structural planning or any sense of organization, so i got really impressed about that in San Francisco. For me it´s a special city not only for the great times i spent there, the cool and kind people i met but also because it is simply nice, well organized and stetically beautiful.
I told Mark that the goal for me was NOT to see the Golden Gate Bridge today because i was saving that for other day :) and Mark made sure of that, it was very funny because either I had to close my eyes a couple of times or we were avoiding to go to through some routes for me not to see the bridge.
We drove all the way up and down the streets of San Francisco, went to Lombard Street "crokedest street" many times to ride it through or for a magnific view over the bay and Coit Tower. We also headed to Fisherman´s Wharf and then finally to the Hard Rock Cafe.
Mark was really enthousiastic to bring me to the Hard Rock Cafe because i don´t recall to have visited any before anywhere. So after some pictures we got in and i just thought it was a store since all the merchandise is on the front room... but no.. the restaurant and music stuff was a bit further inside. We walked around inside while Mark was telling me about who were some all those singers and i made a picture of Carlos Santanas´guitar.
Of course we had nice lunch there, i ordered a grilled salmon and Mark instead some nice Fajitas. Great chances to snap again ;)
