Travelman727, making a new friend in San Francisco
Days before flying to California Mark already contacted me responding to my need of searching for a place to stay, he was very nice, helpful and personalized that i bet any Travel Agency can not do better than him. Always friendly and respectful, Mark offered to pick me at at the airport since he was already in the city.
With our appointment set and on the go i was really curious about all the TB experience!... getting to know Mark and a day later meeting all those people that were so friendly and that smiled at me everytime, sounded really exciting. Now all those profile pictures would become alive and moving.
Once that we landed I liked very much the airport in SFO it´s very organized i think and all the people that i met that works there was soo polite with me when i talked to them so i got a really good impression, it´s great to feel all that positivism while travelling.
Well.. my flight was delayed so i ran to the baggage claiming and there he was! Mark recognized me immediately, it was excellent seeing him there. He is very charming, a warm person and he made me feel every moment very comfortable, and he knew a lot about the city.
After looking for some internet connection for my laptop to check some hostels in the area.. we headed to have a quick meal and then i booked in at Hostelling International because they had a good price and they were located in the shopping area... It was very nice of him to be patient enough to wait for me to search for my hotel.. kind of funny i´m on the travel industry but when i travel i don´t organize anything for myself ha ha ha...
So, with my flight delayed and the hotel booking stuff we had to run quickly downtown find my hostel, check in, leave my luggage and head to the TB informal meeting in Mission Str.
