Time with Relatives & Shopping

In Delhi, we were treated to the hospitality of Pat's family, half-brother John and half-sister Joyce. We enjoyed delicious dinners in the evening but during the day, we amused ourselves in Delhi's markets:
- We stayed in what Delhi residents consider a seedy area called Paharganj. We loved it - excellent accommodation for the price, good food and even better shopping. There was a bit of dodgy stuff for sale, eg. the man selling drums was actually selling dr*gs!
- We also ventured into Chandni Chowk, Delhi's big and chaotic market. You can just about buy anything here.
At Chandni Chowk, we got Kim's beautiful Brietling watch serviced. It appeared to be losing time but the adjustment knob could have been accidentally pulled out. For about EUR0.50, the man did something to it and the problem hasn't re-surfaced.
I think tradespeople here are highly skilled and have decades of experience behind them. A typical repairer in developed countries may have job-hopped and learnt his job through a manual and a few months of formal training.
