OC Meetup
So of course, I am now running late.
Ample time to get everything down in the morning before meeting everyone at 3pm.....
Called over to Angel's around 2pm...verified if there was anything more to be done. Angel pretty much made it all happen. Spoke with Erik and nothing more to do or get except for myself to the beach.
I don't know what happened but before I knew it 4:30 rolled around and I am just leaving my house. So now at the beach and around 5pm...I get to the grassy area where everyone was to have met. Should I have assumed all would still be there waiting? I looked around at the beach areas close by, could not find a single TravBuddy that I would recognize.
Had to call into my contact. "Hey Angel, where you guy's at?" "At Duke's by the bar at a big round table".
Shortly after getting to Duke's and going through the introductions....Steve (HBSurftrvler) had to take off. Took some pictures and what do you know....time to go over to the next part of the evening.
Over to the Huntington Beach Beer Company (a really great place for hanging out and watching the game, mingling with friends and grabbing a bite). As I walk in, I instantly see Eric (first to arrive at the 2nd half). We talk for a bit, sit down and one by one, everyone shows up.
There was some awesome conversations and the food and drink were coming to all.
So here's some pictures....I look forward to meeting up with everyone once again.
