Home at Last
What a great trip! It was wonderful to see new parts of Spain -- particularly the Andalucia region. There is still so much more there to see, and I am sure I will return again some day. I really want to get to Bilbao and Santiago de Compostello -- and of course, the running of the bulls in Pamplona. Good to have goals, right?
Had to add a picture here with the "Booty" acquired during the trip -- the usual things, like T-Shirts for my sons and nephews, more shot glasses for my collection, a Starbucks mug from Madrid, some of the wonderful marzapan confections from Toledo, saffron, tea and lavendar from Granada, and a plate with gold inlay from Toledo. Oh yeah, and refrigerator magnets for Mom, my sister and a few friends. Kitschy, I know -- but great reminders of a wonderful trip.
