Dingley Island
Please forgive this entry, which is grieving. Our beautiful friend Judy passed away last
week and I think she would have enjoyed sharing her piece of nirvana in the
world.
You will twist down a narrow road past a few offshoots
populated by sparse few homes, until you reach the end where Judy lived. Her house was a delightful cottage with
incredible water views on either side.
She had two neighbors, one of whom was the famed shaker furniture maker
Thomas Moser. Despite the many evenings and
every Thanksgiving during the decade I lived in
There is nothing here but a few homesteads, so it is not a
travel destination. However, it is a
spot of incredible natural grace and I want to post a few pictures. We only started returning to
