Before the Travbuddy Meet and Greet

A week or two before the meetup:  Wowowee is a noontime variety and gameshow in the Philippines that I almost never watch (aside from the fact that I seldom watch TV).  That's why when Leah (princessleah123) first mentioned about going to Wowowee and asked me if I want to go I just said yes thinking she isn't that serious (I wished she really wasn't!).  But when she said she already have the tickets, I think I landed myself in some sort of trouble.  Uh-oh!  There is a part in the show where all guests dance and the cameras roam around to pick contestants for one of the games.  Goodness, I don't dance.  I have two left feet!!!!  I don't like appearing on TV! I have a stage fright!  What else, what else! More reasons, Jenneth!!  But for the sake of adventure and in the spirit of welcoming Leah, I did say I will be there.

  It's not going to be that bad, I told myself since I will be with Sarj and Josh, besides... I can hide behind Josh's back, hehehe...

 

February 7, morning.   With Josh waking me up with an SMS 2 hours after I slept, I have no choice but to get up and dress (complain mode :P).  We met up at the ABS-CBN Starbucks, Josh being the first (not surprising anymore, right?) and Leah next.  We met Leah's cuz and Sarj at the next-door diner, Gram's.  It was our first time to meet Leah and so waiting at the audience tent was not problem as we filled the time with story-sharing.  Sarj was so into "I don't want to be seen on camera" and kept on hiding beside Josh and so was I (but I didn't get to hide behind Josh).

   Yes, there was the dreaded dancing and we were seen on TV by most of our friends and colleagues a few times but we all ended up enjoying our time there but as much as we enjoyed the 3 hours spent there, we were also happy it was over.  Limelight so far is not our thing.. that is for me, Sarj and Josh.  Since Leah has to get some of her stuff where she was staying, we decided to separate ways for a while, Leah heading back and meeting us at around 4pm and the three of us (Sarj, Josh, and moi) went to Megamall, the place where the Meet and Greet is going to be held.

 

February 7, 4pm.  We decided to play bowling.  Most of us claimed to have not played for a long time and Princess Leah claimed that she sucks big time.  Advice to all people who would read this, don't believe a girl who says she sucks big time in a game, because in the end, Leah had a few strikes (3 or 4 I think) and had the highest score.  Yeah, that sucks! I lost (*pouts*).  But we all enjoyed the game!   Also, a little past the mid-game, elaine (laineeey) came to join us.  She haven't played the game before but she was a sport and had thrown a few too - going straight to the canal though.  Ooops, peace elaine :)

We finished playing bowling just in time for us to go to Dencio's Grill where the meetup is to be held.   As much as I want to give more details in my blog, I think most of the people here knows what happened that night since some of the blogs about the meetup also got featured.  Just checkout the links I have given below for more details though I have posted some pics here for you to browse.  All in all, it was a night full of fun and laughter, plus the smiles we all got after receiving the freebies given by princessleah123, the_bloodsucker, and Isabetlog.
