From the simple meetup in January, I started gaining more friends through this website. Isn't it cool if there is such a thing as Travbuddy Friendship Week or a Travbuddy Friendship Month? It can be a friendship day every day but I am making this month my Travbuddy Month :)

Meeting up with Paca James (profile name: pjmaxiv)

I had the pleasure of being invited by my fellow Manila travbuddies Fe (fayemin) and Dara (dara_smc) to join them for dinner at Masas Greenbelt that evening. I only heard of Paca's visit to the Philippines through Fe and though they invited me to come with them in showing Paca around, I had to decline because I had to work the night before. They had taken Paca to Tagaytay that morning where he was able to see the Taal volcano. Paca is a vey pleasant guest as he is full of stories and he is not at all picky on eating Filipino foods. Now, that's the spirit! We had kare-kare, spicy sisig, and grilled tuna belly for dinner followed by a serving of halo-halo for dessert. Afterwards, we went to Cafe Havana for some beer.
