Really started now
Wow, what a big train that is, and... is it really our train? The sign on the platform says it's going to Moscow in Russia, but we want to go to Prague in the Czech Republic ! And did I see the name of Copenhagen as well? We are a bit puzzled, it has to do with all the names of destinations of this train and possibly it could have something to do with the order of the cars which is totally different from what the schedule on the platform-boards shows.
Well, after seeing our car number on a door we hopped on board, got the suitcases under the seats, waved good-bye to hubby and oldest daughther, and off we went. We just hope the best of it, and the conductor who checked our tickets did not say anything about being on a wrong train. It turns out that whole long line of cars will be split up in several parts somewhere in Germany, taking one part to Copenhagen, one to Warsaw and further to Minsk and Moscow, and one part to Prague, and yes, that is ours ofcourse :)
We decided Cologne was bedtime for the kids, so after a call with hubby from there, they we told them to get into bed and go sleep.
Easier said than done, they were really thrilled of travelling in a night train.
But after a while and some serious talks they finally got the message, and we could hear them snore, how cute.
