At the border we had to show our ID and passes, first time we had to on this trip, but we were leaving the Schengen area now.
So, we had to show them to the Hungarian guards first, and a couple of minutes and kilometres later again to the Romanian guards.

Very early in the morning the conductor woke up our travelcompanions, who both had to to off the train at Gheorghieni. So we were  awake as well at 5.30... (yawn)
