That was a great activity being surrounded by other planners and professional, of course it was a bit silly when people asked me who I was working for, since I was unemployed. But I took the chance to grab all type of pamphlet and booklet and tried to network but that will have revealed not so easy.
I enjoyed a day at the City Hall, eating at the Hilton (expenses paid) and feel in what could have been the crowd I would have been with.
The great thing was the after conference atop the City Hall, the view was great on the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. The weather was great and sunny, I had a great day.
The architecture of the City Hall is also very special and equal to the new ecologic energy saving issue, the spiral staircase in the middle of the building was being great photo topic.
The remaining of Southwark, I mainly walked it during lost days, from Waterloo to Elephant and Castles, passing by the Tate Modern museum where it is located and many other sight that are located in Southwark:
OXO tower, Borough Market, Imperial War Museum, City Hall square, Tate Modern.
