Ladybirds ... Spring is in the Air

An hour and so after leaving Cromer, I arrived in Norwich.


The train ride was joyful, enjoying the flat landscape of Norfolk. I felt happy to at last be out of London, be in the countryside where I feel more relax and at least need a break from the city chaos once in a while.


I spent this sunny day wandering around Norwich, although my main concern was to find the Norwich Union Building, after all I heard the ads for it so many times back home. I found Norwich to be a quite atypical English town, this is due to the fact that it was actually a Norman Region and so is the famous square castle. It was a lovely walk through the Norman/Latinised street names and through the historic buildings. The day went by as I felt relax in this country town, I walked through the market before it was finally the time to head back to the station if I wanted to be back home not too late.

The rest of March:

I just ended up back in Putney going to work my various shift at the YHA Earls Court. Sadly, as my incomes came in, I didn't have the time to go out anymore and take part of any CS meetings. My shift were always from Thursday to Monday. So my week ends were always busy  bleh.

I tried to go to the Boat Race by Cambridge and Oxford University on the Thames which was on March 29th, however, I was tired after work and took the bus straight home to eat. So I didn't feel like hanging out again, and it was slightly raining so...
