Islington
February 8, 2008
Islington is tiny (shaped in lenght but not wide) but surprisingly, it reveals some lovely corner. Flanked just on the northern bit of City of London at footsteps of the London Wall, its southern part (Clerkenwell - Farringdon and Smithfield) are lively.
The main problem of Islington being that it is surrounded by a sea of business building to the south, east and west, which separate it from the crowds hanging at Westminster or the tourists visiting City of London or bits of Camden. Those bits are so dull and cold of concrete that I presume people ending up in Islington went directly there but didn't happen to walk till there.
