Perfect location for the golfers and close to the beach
ResortQuest Shores is a very pleasant and comfortable hotel located in Waikoloa some 30 kilometers north of Kona Airport. The Shores is not right along the coast but only 5 minutes away from the beach, just behind the Hilton.
For those interested in golf, it is ideally located being surrounded by Waikoloa Beach Golf Course. The pro-shop is right next to the hotel's gate. Kings Course is very close by as well.
I stayed a few nights in a spacious condo which was a bit of a waste because did not spend much time at the hotel with so much to see on the Big Island. When I made the reservation I wasn't familiar with this concept of condominium so did not realise it would be an entire flat, including an equipped kitchen a large lounge and terrace. It did feel very "at home".
I’d definitely recommend this hotel. I will just add that there is a reasonable pool, a gym, tennis courts and broadband internet is available in the rooms.
