my Landmark, following this I didn't get lost ;)

Well, as I said before, this entry would be just about the rest of the days I spent in New Orleans, but I'd avoid the Mardi Gras experience. Why? Because it deserves an own blog :)

Although I was partying everyday, I managed to wake up early ;)  I was lucky the weather was great, not too warm, not too cool. It didn't rain either, so it was perfect for doing some exercise.

Feb 2nd : I took a walk through St. Charles, just to see how people were getting ready for the parades. It wasn’t even 8am, and there were people cooking breakfast and children in the streets just running and playing.

Feb 3rd: Again taking a walk and enjoying the nice view of the city and people getting ready for MG.

Feb 4th: I took another walk, this time through Magazine, just to see the nice shops and trendy boutiques and shops.

Feb 5th: It was MG, but my body needed to recover after a party weekend. I needed a break from alcohol and food. I woke up, took an hour walk and Adam picked me up to have a cup of coffee, before he had to drive back home. :( I’m gonna miss my buddy…. We had a cup of coffee and went to Audubon Park in order to take a look at the Mississippi River and kept on chilling out.

Feb 6th: and the rest of the days??? Hahaha, they are about Mardi Gras, so I’ll talk about them later. MG was over and was time to go back to work, but also to do some more sightseeing. Since my first time in the city, there was one thing missing: Café Du Monde and I couldn’t leave NOLA this time without being there. A friend agreed to join me to Café Du Monde. It was Ash Wednesday and the city was completely different. So quiet, nobody in the streets. It was a ghost town… We could walk through Bourbon street without any problem.

First we had a nice dinner. He wanted beef and we got Argentinean BBQ. It was ok, but it wasn’t as good as the real one. Anyway, we were full. There was just a bit of space for the coffee. I asked one of the clerks to lend me her hat just for the picture and instead of selling it to me, she decided to give it to me for free :)
