Milford to NY

It's about an hour and a half to get to NY from Milford by train. I intended to purchase a newspaper to read on the way, but it was $.50 from the vending machine, and I had 45 cents in change on me at the time. Figures! I was scanning the ground for a spare nickle when the train pulled up. Oh, well! As it turned out, I would be entertained on this trip by the two girls in the seat next to me, and their adorable dog Skyler, a little chuahaha who was all over the place!

Yes! Because the train was arriving, I had less than a minute to scan for that elusive nickle! I was looking behind and between the paper boxes, hoping someones dropped change had rolled there...but hadn't enough time for an exhaustive search. Very frustrating to be $0.05 short of getting a paper, with almost a 2 hour train ride ahead of me!
