Hollywood Stars and a Lunar Eclipse...

I traveled to Lincoln, MT last night to visit my parents. My mom owns a small shop there, and has been after me to come help her, but up until now, the roads have been too bad to travel. A movie is being filmed in the area..."Call of the Wild" or something, and so the town has been buzzing with activity. We were in the shop today, and one of the actors strolled by...Christopher Lloyd ("Doc" from Back to the Future). Then tonight we stopped by one of the local pubs, and I guess the cast/crew has chosen this place as their favorite. The ower said he has been serving them breakfast every morning, then at night they are there until 2 or 3 am. A lot of the crew was there, plus the director. And the actor Jaleel White...better known to some as Steve Urkel of the television show "Family Matters" was also there, as well as, I'm sure, a few of the other actors who are lesser known, and I wouldn't recognize them if my life depended on it.

Lunar Eclipse...horrible photography!!
The set people and costumers have been frequenting my mom's shop for odds and ends...clothing, picture frames, blankets, etc, so it will be interesting to watch the movie when it comes out to see if we recognize any of the props. =)

Oh, and the lunar eclipse was beautiful from there! It was a clear night, and it's such a small town, that there are no city lights to distract from the beauty. I attempted to take some photos, but am clearly not well versed in nighttime photography...or any photography for that matter...but especially not nighttime photography. Oh well...will post them anyhow. =)

It was a quick trip, but very enjoyable. ;)

Of course he was in Taxi! He played Rev. Jim Ignatowski. And he was in about 100 movies. (not even exaggerating)

yes, i believe he was in Taxi. it's been soooo long since i've seen that show. i was pretty young, so i don't remember it much. and he is very down to earth. he just hung out at the pub a lot. seemed pretty quiet, but also very kind. he introduced himself to some of our group, and sat at their table for awhile.
