McKenzie putting on her waders =)
My friend, McKenzie and I were looking for something to do one weekend that would be fun, and different than what we normally do...which is pretty much go to coffee, or breakfast, or go shopping, or something around town. So we decided to go fishing...kind of random for us, but that's what we were going for. We got up early, went and bought fishing licenses, and set off on our adventure. First we went to Hauser Dam, and climbed down below the dam to try our luck. The only thing I managed to do was to lose my lure on the first cast, then another on maybe the third cast. After awhile of catching nothing but seaweed, we decided that we should try Prickley Pear Creek. Our other friend, Ben, joined us at this point. We fished pretty much all afternoon. Ben caught four or five nice sized fish, I caught one that was maybe three inches long at the very most...the lure was almost as large as the fish. (I'm bummed that I don't have the picture of that one!!) And McKenzie had no luck at all. But she almost stepped on a snake, so that added at least a little excitement to our day. =)
