Alice in Wonderland
My itinerary goals for my 2nd day in KL involved going to what Aileen said as a nice location which was Cyberjaya. This time I promised myself I'd take it easy with my schedule and just go with the flow. Still with my city guide in hand I got off at KL Sentral to see where I could go.
Everything seems to be so artistic in Kuala Lumpur, so well planned. The roads are all highly accessible and free, I even noticed the art of the water funnel from the roof of the monorail dripping to a pot.
Taking the bus to Cyberjaya from KL Sentral, I got dropped off in a Cyberpark. Which was apparently a hub of call centers and IT offices, hence the name. After chit chatting for a time with the bus drivers and guards at the HSBC building stop, I decided to go for exploring Putrajaya.
This would definitely be a better tourist attraction as what the locals said. I got on to another bus bound to the Putrajaya train stop, took a cab around Putrajaya from there for MYR 30 for 1 hour. It's definitely worth it. To make it easier, you could also take the KLIA monorail from KL Sentral and get off at the Putrajaya stop to take the cab. This is where my adventure begins...
Am really glad I got lost, who would've imagined that I could view such a beautiful place. Seeing the architecture of the government offices, the Prime Minister's office, Ministry of Finance offices, Putra Mosque, the Putrajaya International Convention Centre, and the wonderful bridges of Seri Wawasan and Putra Bridge. The weather even cooperated, on the verge of having a downpour, the skies held it in until right after I finished the tour and was on board the bus back to KL. The universe conspires.
