the old cash machines are still in the stores...

I would like to recommend to everybody this old (established in the middle of the 13th century) city located in the west Ucraine. Its huge and stormy history can be briefly described by mentionnig the countries to which the city has belonged throughout the centuries:

to 1250 - belonged to Grody Czerwińskie
1256-1339 - under the power of Russia's lords
1340-1772 - belonged to Poland's lords
1772-1918 - under the Austria's occupation
1918-1939 - II Rzeczpospolita
1939-1941 - Soviet's occupation
1941-1944 - Nazi's occupation
1944-1991 - USRR
since 1991 - Ucraine
