this is my plan for summer 2008 in spain, tell me do you like it

barcelonaaaaaaaa!!!!!

:)
I try to make plan of visiting Barsa, like:
20.7 fountain montjuic and city bus tour by ourselves (plaza de espana, sagrada, etc), we will not use hop out hop in buses 'cos we will buy T4-card
21.7 park guell, aquarium,  flamenco night
22.7 pedrera, picaso, gothic village
23.7 chek out from our rooms, go to wax museum or tibidabo sky walk..
i am not shure yet

T4 card is great, you can make your own plans and that gives you enough space for any activites you do want to do.
On that firs day we buy T4 card. Then we go to buy tickets for ferries to Palma and Ibiza [and totaly forget that it was Sunday], than go to Montjuic hill, and on Paralel street to eat something, than on neverending line for train tickets to Figuera.
And taht was enough. We was  exhausted. We go to hostel for shower and quickly to Montjuic parc for water show. It was beautiful.
All that day we try to meet with TB friend Ivan http://www.travbuddy.com/asturjimmy and we didn't make it :( i'm so sorry about that.

Tomorow was Gaudi day: Parc Guell i Sagrada familla and just a little bit of Pedrera...and Rambla
Day after tomorow: Pedrera, Batlo, La Ciutadella park,Triumph arch, Barri Gotic, Picasso museum and St.Josep La boqueria - market. :) ...and Rambla
Last day: Platja Barceloneta, Port Vell - Mare magnum and Rambla again and again

walking trough barcelona searching for gaudi- casa batllo
I recived that book from my friend a years ago, and i know that some day i will go to see what was that man do.
...........Antoni Plàcid Guillem Gaudí i Cornet...........
"Gaudí, throughout his life, studied nature's angles and curves and incorporated them into his designs. Instead of relying on geometric shapes, he mimicked the way men stand upright. The hyperboloids and paraboloids he borrowed from nature were easily reinforced by steel rods and allowed his designs to resemble elements from the environment." [wikipedia]

When you siting on some of his benches or you walk trough house which he is designed, you feel like an insect in marvelous world of giant flowers and beautiful shells. You have to go there and touch that walls. It is magic place on Earth made by hands of men.

"Casa Batlló is a building restored by Antoni Gaudí and Josep Maria Jujol, built in the year 1877 and remodelled in the years 1905–1907. The local name for the building is Casa dels ossos (House of Bones), and indeed it does have a visceral, skeletal organic quality. It was originally designed for a middle-class family and situated in a prosperous district of Barcelona." [wikipedia]
casa mila- La pedrera
Casa Milà,or La Pedrera, built in the years 1906–1910 (officially completed 1912).
My sister doesn't like this building because it is freaky for her.
But I like it, it is like you walk trough some giant forms of bones. You will find there curly walls and some anatomic shapes of chairs, windows, doors...etc.
Maybe you will wish more light, but that is charm of this building.
Roof is special. There are silence guardians and lots of lights and space.
