Some musings on my brief trip to Asia. This was my second time to China and my first time to Japan (and it just so happened to coincide with the annual Cherry Blossom Festival). Because I had been to China previously and I speak the language, my friend begged me to be her guide. Granted, she did not have to do much begging for me to wholeheartedly agree!

Konnichiwa Tokyo!

This was my first time in Japan.  I felt so lucky to not only have the opportunity to travel there, but to also witness the elegant opening of the famous Cherry Blossoms (sakura).  The Cherry Blossoms have to be one of nature's most beautiful gifts to the world.

The day's agenda included:

  • Senso-Ji
  • Ueno-Koen
