I hope to complete a Travel Blog showing all the pictures of the places my wife Jenny and I have lived and visited since we bought our first computer when we lived in Hawaii in 1998. We've spent most of that time travelling around the globe and I've spent many hours organizing all the digital pictures. Hopefully, TravBuddy will be a way to show off all the places we've expereinced in the world. The picture of us is taken from our balcony on the East China Sea in Nakadomari, Okinawa.

Star of Honolulu Pearl Harbor Tour and Whale Watching Cruise

Arizona Memorial, Pearl Harbor, HI from Star of Honolulu Pearl Harbor Tour.

In March 1999, Jenny's parents came to visit us in Hawaii. We set out on the Star of Honolulu, a regional cruise ship, to tour Pearl Harbor and see some whales. We were also treated to some rainbows that reached from both ends of the horizon, close-up of the USS Missouri battleship and Arizona Memorial, and the Missing Man Formation Memorial on Hickam AFB at the mouth of Pearl Harbor (See these blogs: http://www.travbuddy.com/travel-blogs/23990/Opening-Day-for-the-USS-MISSOURI-Battleship-Pearl-Harbor-12

we were guarnteed to see whales or get a refund, so we stayed out later than expected but we did get to see a mother whale and her calf swimming by Diamond Head Crater. Sorry if the pictures are not all that revealing but you should be able to tell the diffrrence between the whale spouting from the waves on at least one shot.
