Our First Visit Together to Okinawa, Japan--Jenny's Brirthplace

When we lived in Hawaii and we had visited all the Islands of Hawaii, we wanted to visit Jenny's birthplace in Okinawa, Japan in September 1998.  At the time, we thought this tour may be the closest we'd ever live to the place she was born, so we got a space-A trip on a KC-135 tanker out of Hickam direct to Kadena AB.  Little did we know but we actually got the privilage to live in Okinawa later from August 2003-2005.  Okinawa was the best place we've ever lived, but we'll have to post more pictures later in the blog from those years.  The hospital is where Jenny was born to her American parents while her father was serving in the 173d Airborne Division on the first of his three tours in Vietnam.
