NORTH SHORE OAHU BIG SURF AND SUNSET

We went up to the North Shore along Kamehameha Highway HWY-83, just norteast of Haleiwa Town, to check out the 25-foot waves and the sunset.  We were amazed at the crazy people actually surfing those huge waves!  The sunset along the Waiʻanae Range (or Waianae Mountains) was amazing.  Unfortunately, pictures of the full moon rising up over Pearl Harbor and Diamond Head Crater did not turn out that well.  Guess you had to be there!
