When Jenny and met in Frankfurt, Germany in December 1993, we were introduced through members of Jenny's English-speaking Anglican Church in Frankfurt, Hugh and Lizzy from the UK. When we visited Europe for Chirstmas, New Years and Jenny's brithday in Dec 02-Jan 03, we decided to take a cheap flight on Buzz Air from Frankfurt Hahn Airport (which used to be a U.S. air base) to London Stansted Airport outside the northeast suburbs of London. Our visit to the farmhouse and pastures of the English countryside was peaceful and quiet. The scenery with the Union Jack flying overhead with pastures of sheep grazing below was serene. We watched the farrier make custom horseshoes in the stable adjacent to the huge farmhouse we stayed in. We were not too afraid of the kids dressed in moster cosutmes inspired by the Monsters Incorporated movie--they were actually very cute running around on the farm because they l-o-v-e-d their monster costumes!
The nearby West Wycombe Caves (also known as Hellfire Caves) , located in the Chiltern Hills, Buckinghamshire, England, are most famous for being used as a meeting place for members of The Hellfire Club.
Peaceful, quiet and haunted caves while staying at an old English farmhouse in the countryside. Relax, you have arrived in Loosley Row!
