Children's day

The length of the journey from Turkestan to Bishkek, Kyrgystan is such that we had to overnight in Taraz. Taraz is a typical Soviet city with typical post Soviet attitude. We got lucky as today is children's day in the whole of Kazachstan and they youth can enjoy the many festivities organised in the towns. In Taraz that meant you could rollerscate on the parade square, geet your picture taken in a funny cart or go wild with the kareoke. The Kazach youth sure knows how to party.
