Maribago White Sands
Maribago Bluewater Resort is one of my favorite hang out places when I was living in Cebu City. It is very accessible from the city and wouldn't require long driving. There are lots of seaside resorts in Cebu but Bluewater has very good, clean, and almost complete facilities, well-trained staff, and they offer a wide range of activities. This is where I learned to jet ski. It costs P2,500/ hr($63). They also have a diving center, and have lots of boats for rent if you want to go island hopping to the Olango Island group. Food and drinks at the bars and retaurants are quite expensive though. The coffee shop is the least expensive place.
If you wouldn't want to be out in the beach and sea at Bluewater, they have big, scenic pools, cocktail bars, coffee shops with books to read, spa, and gym. There is also a pond where you can view live sharks. I hope they bring back the ($38) P1500/day/pax weekend promo wherein you pay that amount and it would cover a daytime stay at the resort w/ free use of the facilities (excluding boating, jet ski, and diving) plus buffet lunch and drinks for free.
