Took a road trip with some buddies through Yosemite, a stop in Reno for a bit of poker and on to Yellowstone hitting various spots in between.

Summer in Yellowstone

I have been to Yellowstone four times now, this trip being the fourth.  Every time I’m here I always feel like I haven’t spent enough time.  The park is huge and there are little hidden things to see off the beaten path and away from the major sights.  I forget how many miles of boardwalks and trails there are until I see them once again.  Yellowstone often makes you feel like you’re on another planet, especially when you’re walking along a huge caldera steaming with near boiling water.  The blend of wildlife, natural beauty and the strange geothermal things makes this a very unique place and I’m absolutely sure I will be back again.

I haven't been to Yellowstone since I was 12. Man, did I have a pre-pubescent fascination with Buffalo dung.
