Skiing in July??

Well much to my dismay, big toes are very important for snowboarding so I went skiing instead. I am alive with no broken limbs. We went to Coronet Peak today but it was quite shit actually. It was windy and really cold and the runs were almost complete ice. There was no base, like rocks and grass everywhere. The snowboarders seemed completely out of control on the hill, riding like idiots. One guy ran right into me and didn't say sorry. It was so busy but I guess still an okay way to spend the day. I skied with another girl named Hannah because we were about the same level. Poor Sue had her first time on skis and gave up when she couldn't get the snowplow. I had a mini heart attack today when I thought they lost my pictures at the camera shop. I've been crying a lot lately about lost things (lost my bag on the bus the other day and am so distraut that my journal is gone - and my bag that I need desparately, also lost a towel and some other important stuff - jeepers). I ate an infamous Fergburger for dinner, it was huge and delicious. Tomorrow I am moving on to Dunedin. Update soon,
