Still planning with 27 days to go...
While i am working 6 days a week in what is now the rainy season in Northern Iraq. My thoughts are filled with excitement of leaving this place! I get to go back home for good before the start of Summer, but my thoughts are mainly on this western europe trip next month. How exciting for anyone planning a trip like this (if not from europe..) but i got the books 'Europe by Eurail 2008' and the other 2008 book, Blake has it..
Im excited but its hard to express it, i work under stressful environment, daily bullshit meter is high and im up to a pack a day on cigarettes. ( i didnt smoke til a few years ago)
The plan so far is Germany, Holland, Belguim, also Blake wants to go see Italy and Ireland. I want to see Spain...Compromise is what's got to happen, especially with expenses on a 15 day trip!!!

So far...
its after midnight and me and Blake have settled on these places so far..
1. land in Frankfurt--hey military is paying for it!
2. upon arriving head straight to the train for Koln if in the morning, if afternoon-nite time, sleep at Army base
3. and thats it, i got 4 days left until we arrive in kuwait, drop the rest of our army gear and hit the road : )
4. this is really a un-planned trip...catch the train and see where it takes us..except i got a train ticket on the 18th for cologne to amsterdam, what happens if i missed the train time?????????????????
