Dom Catheral with off-da-dom-wall Pics!
Cologne so cool!
I have been visting Cologne my second spring now. I dont know really when I can choose any other place in the world but when i walk thro the streets of cologne I feel so at ease, I think it is a wonderful German city. It's history, both past and present, make this a unique city of the future.
After Berlin we decided to fly instead of take the train. train wouldve wasted hours so we spent a lil extra for the hour flight and it was sooo nice. we drank on the plane! lol.
We stayed at the Hostel for Backpackers there on Marzellenstrazr St. It was down the street from the DOM, i remember there is a McDonalds on the corner and a Kamps across from. Keep walking and you'll walk past a Hiltons!
The Hostel wasn't that bad, our room was 2 twin beds which I valued highly, Blake is my friend but the space matters! There was a bar and the staff was quite friendly.
When we decided to come back to Cologne i guess Blake wanted some familarilty instead of jumping to Munich, i miss and wished we couldve made it Munich!!! With the remaining time we had left in country , I scheduled for us to do one World War II memorial and at least make it to see some castles!
The next day we went into the Dom, i will have more detail about the Dom, if you are ever in Cologne you have to go inside this wonder it is a beautiful modern gothic cathedal and I am a BIG FAN of architecture!!!!!
