Well after my 3 weeks in Arizona with my family, it was time to head out east to see all my friends. Unfortunately I didn't get to spend a lot of time down there (about 1 week) but it was a fun filled week of sun, fun, Disney, and friends.

I got in on the 16th and went straight to a friends (Charity) going away party (she recently received a contract to play Elphaba in the musical "Wicked, at Universal Studios Japan). I had a GREAT night and got to see a bunch a friends I hadn't seen in a while.

After that the next few days were spent around Orlando, going out to eat, seeing movies (Cloverfield, 27 Dresses), and just hanging out with friends. On Sunday my buddy Jared and I decided to spend the day at the Disney parks, so that we could see some of our friends at work.

Well half way through the day while we were at Disney's Hollywood Studios park, I suddenly realized that my rental car keys were no longer in my pocket, AAAAHHHH!!!!! After retracing our steps, checking lost & found, and anywhere else we could think of the keys were NO WHERE to be found, UGH. So after dealing with Thrifty car rentals road side assistance, and trying to figure out what my options were, we finally had my car towed back to the rental lot, and exchanged it for a new car. Oh, did I mention that even after I lost the keys they still gave me an UPGRADE!!!! Haha, SWEEEEET!!! Thrifty really helped me out a lot, and the ladies at Road Side Assistance were awesome.

So anyways, the next day after having breakfast at Disney's Grand Floridian resort (character meal), I decided to call Studios lost & found one last time (if I couldn't find the key I was gonna be charged like $200 for a new one to be made (damn microchip keys).

Well to my surprise someone had found my rental car key and turned it in to lost & found. WOOO HOOOO!!!!! Thank GOODNESS, now I don't have to pay for a new key to be made, YES!!!!! Thank you random stranger, haha.

So anyways, after returning the key to Thrifty and grabbing some dinner at Chile's a couple friends and I headed out for the Magic Kingdom park, for that evenings "Pirate & Princess party." We had a great time watching the parade and the BEST fireworks show (Magic, Music, & Mayhem) I have EVER seen at the Magic Kingdom Park. By Midnight we had ridden the rides we wanted to ride, saw the friends we could find, and watched all the shows we could catch. It was time to call it a night and head home. A great end to a VERY adventurous and eventful (to say the least) week. :~)

Hey there!:) Oh my goodness something kind of similar happened to us a few years ago at Disney. We were leaving EPCOT because of some very bad weather and my mom could not find the keys to her car. We looked all over and she left her number with lost and found. Luckily she had her spare keys st the bottom of her purse. The next day they called and told her someone found her keys. She had to go and get them at one of the hotels around Sea World. Anyway I am glad that you had a good time desite what happened.:) Take care.
