Arrival in Sunny Salvador...

Well it took over 20 hours for me, but I made it!!!!  SF to Toronto, Toronto to Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo to Salvador.

I arrived in Sao Paulo with plans to purchase a ticket to Florianopolis, my favorite beach heaven.  But unfortunately, the timing just wasnt right.  I would have had to wait in the airport another 8 hours, then all of the flights out of Floripa were full.  So plan B--head straight to Salvador.

I arrived at the Salvador airport around 4pm, then caught the bus to my hotel, Sol Barra.  Now yáll know I am not a bus rider, but I was thankful I ended up using the public transit system as I met some great people--two Brazilians and one European.  We arrived at Sol Barra, had a couple of drinks, then called it a night.
