tower surprise
"I was pretty excited to finally see modern life but we only went to Tokyo Tower.... If I knew we were going to Tokyo I should've worn better clothes!". - Another excerpt from my diary. I feel like a complete dork when I read what i write!
Anyway, it was in the afternoon when we left the house. We were supposed to go to Mobara or something but when we were already on the highway my Uncle changed his mind and thought that it would be cool to go to Tokyo instead. I wasn't ready! I didn't know how to express my excitement! It's Tokyo, my dream!! Woaaahhh!!
After driving around the city we finally arrived at the Tokyo Tower. We took the elevator to the first observation deck. Getting to see the whole city view of Tokyo at sunset wasn't bad at all! Actually, IT WAS AMAZING!!! I saw Mt.
My Aunt was scared of high up we were. So it was only me and Kenji who went to the special observation deck. I didn't mind going up again because my Uncle paid for the tickets! ^^ Free stuff are fun!
When we got to the very top, it was already night time and the view is still amazing. We were really high up and my fear of heights started kicking in but I had to forget about it because it's Tokyo!!
When we went down again, we saw this purikura booth and of course, being the purikura freaks that we are, we took some shots. On our way home, I got to see some more sights of Tokyo (like Odaiba where I saw the Fuji building!) and drove through the Rainbow bridge. We got home extremely hungry after!! ^^
