a tall ferris wheel and more sushi
Another sushi night for me and I am definitely not complaining since I finally enjoy eating raw meat. It was in a sushi restaurant in Chiba called Sushiro, the same one we went to the last time. I was so excited to see so many kinds of sushi again and felt like I didn't take enough pictures before that I decided to take pictures of every sushi there was (for each kind of sushi I have taken about 5 or so pictures not realizing they were the same ones).
Japanese food is good... and very healthy! I can't say I liked everything I ate in Japan because there are some that I can not imagine to be my favorites. And the number one thing that I never got to like (and actually never got to try yet but still....!) is Nato.
Do you know how normal stinky feet smell like? How about stinky feet unwashed for ten days, or let's say ten weeks? There's a huge difference between normal stinky feet than stinky feet that's been unwashed for ten weeks because the last ones are indeed ten times worse. And the huge difference, ladies and gentleman, is the smell of Nato *long akward pause....................* (bwahahaha I couldn't connect them worse, bad writing, awful brain!). These slimy beans are so stinky that if there was a Nato in a room you would instantly know without someone telling you because the smell is so strong and awful! But Kenji doesn't bother about the smell and they're actually his favorite! But, don't be too scared of them, Nato beans are very very nutricious and the Japanese love them! Since I'm not a Japanese, I guess I'm free not to like them! hehehehe. .. Someday, I will have the guts though to try them... Someday.....There are still some other weird food that I got to try and did not like. Though I should look on the brighter side, there are lots of food that I really loved! To name the few (or what I just can actually remember!!): Sashimi is really good. Sukiyaki is my all time favorite and so is Tempura. Yakitori and Tonkatsu are also on my list. Sushi is, of course, there too. And what I really really really love the most is Yakiniku (BBQ). And I know that it is actually not Japanese but Korean, this food is what I really enjoyed eating the most in Japan!!
Wait, does my entry title here says anything about a tall ferris wheel?? Oh yeah! I almost forgot about the Tokto Daiya to Hana ferris wheel we went to after having sushi.
When you go to Tokyo, you might see some 3 huge ferris wheels around and this one that we went to is actually the tallest of all the 3. So my Aunt who got scared on Disneyland rides was pretty nervous when we got on. Nervous enough to smack Kenji on the face really hard when he was trying to switch seats a lot! Scared the sushi out of my Aunt! Nyahahahaha ^^The ferris wheel is 117 meters tall making it the second tallest in the whole country (ninth in the world so far). Located in the Kasairinkai Park, you won't get much view of Tokyo as it is located a bit outside the city. But, apart from the stunned look of my Aunt which I enjoyed very much hahahaha, it was a really nice and fun experience! We took a couple of purikura with the ferris wheel as the background but the version of the photo booth there was so old, it would be completely embarassing to show them to you.
So I guess that's really all I can say about this day??????????
