view from our hotel
So sis and trust had been looking for a place for us to go for a couple nights on the Gold Coast and finally they found a good place in Broadbeach called the Phoenecian. We left at noonish on Sunday and got there at about 2:30. The place seemed really nice, a lot different to the hostels I'm used to. We checked in to the hotel and then looked for somewhere to eat. Me, kayla and amy had maccas and they just wandered around. eventually the settled on a cheap takeaway place near our hotel. We went back up to the hotel after sis and trudy had their grog. We sat around for a bit and watched TV before going out for dinner. Earlier they found an Italian restaurant that had half price meals until 6:30 so we went there at around 6 to eat. The food there was average but for the price it wasn't too bad. Ww got back to the hotel in time to watch so you think you can dance! After the show I went down to get ice cream with the kids and then we went to the pool. I didnt bring my togs but really wanted to swim so I just jumped in with my clothes on lol it actually felt really good. We swam for a while and then headed upstairs to go to bed.
