Narooma

Friday:

We woke up super early today to make sure we caught our bus. Me, Amber and Angela were in the bathroom and all of a sudden Amber started FREAKING out and screaming and we were like wtf whats wrong. There was a spider the size of her hand in the shower! They guys came in to make sure we were okay and they looked at the spider. They freaked out too. Steve said he wanted to go home. I hate spiders...Anywho after that we checked out and went to the bus stop where it dropped us off and waited for a bit. 6:30am rolls around and the bus drove right past us! We didn't know what to do so I called the company and they said we didn't book for the YHA stop, but we did. He said he could stop the bus for 3 minutes and we booked it with our bags but didn't make it.

We all phoned the company and yelled at them but they were jerks and could only book us on the 3am bus! What a joke! So I called the Narooma hostel to change our reso, but they were so nice the manager offered to drive out and pick us up! We couldn't believe how nice he was! So he got there at like 10am and we all piled in and got driven to the hostel. Our room was sweet too, out own bathroom and a TV and a fridge. We decided to walk up to get some groceries and beer because it was Steves 20th birthday! We got a flat of XXXX gold to share for only 10 bucks each. We walked back and chilled out, watched some TV, played some free pool. We barbecued the snags at like 7 and had some beers. We shared with the whole hostel so that was fun. After dinner Chris and Wendy(the managers) came down with a cake! They went to the store and bought Steve a birthday cake with candles! I couldn't believe how nice these people were! After cake we all did the dishes and then me and the girls went back to the room to chill out. Steve and Nick played pool with Chris. It started to pour rain too! It was nuts. We went to bed after that.

Saturday:

The girls had to leave at 4am to go to Sydney because they got jobs so they woke us up to say bye. Later, me Nick and Steve went to the beach. Chris bought boogie boards for us to use and drove us to the beach! We were there for quite a while. Boogie boarding is so fun! I had a blast. For about an hour Nick and Steve went golfing up the hill and I watched the stuff. When we were done Chris came and picked us up too! It was awesome. That night we got all ready and went out to the bar, Chris drove us there too! The bar was interesting..lots of Aussies there. It was good times. We had some Tooheys and played some coin games. Steve and Nick played pool against 2 really drunk aussie guys. It was pretty ridiculous. Then we went back to the hostel, it was only like a 20 minute walk. Narooma was awesome though, best hostel ever!
