Osijek is city at the eastern Croatian region of Slavonia. It’s located on the right bank of the river Drava.
I traveled with my sister and my friend. We took a regular bus from Belgrade to Osijek. It is only a few hours by car and 5 hours by bus.
It was September, but it was really hot day. We spend most of time on Tvrdja; the old part of Osijek. There are lots of baroque houses and some military buildings.
Na putu do Osijek smo prosli kroz Vukovar. Svuda po Osijeku, po fasadama zgrada, ocevidno je da rat nije bio tako davno.
No, Osijek se ne da. Na glavnom trgu se gradi, kafici su puni, studenti pronose svoje teke i idu pit kavu uz Dravu. Uzivala sam taj dan, unatoc tome sto sam morala ustat u 5 ujutro da bih stigla na bus.
