Dubrovnik
I just check date. It looks impossible.
October!? But it was so hot that day in Dubrovnik, and full of tourists.
Beautiful Dubrovnik! Houses, roofs, Sun, bikes, restaurants and boats. Lots of
happy people. Fishnet, Pile gates, the Orlando column and Rector's palace.
We took a bus from Makarska to Dubrovnik. If you do that, don't forget your
passport because you will pass over Bosnia and Hercegovina at small part of
Adriatic coast.
Finally, when we get to bus station in Dubrovnik, we took a walk to center of
city. Sun was shining and sea was sparkling. It takes about 20 minutes to get
to center.
We were enter in the old town through the Pile Gate and in front of us was the
Stradun with Onofrio Fountain. You can
hear so many different languages there. We walk very slowly and enjoy in view
and crowd. At the other end of the Stradun, we find the locals' favorite
meeting place, the Orlando Column,
with Sponza Place. Here is also
the Rector's Palace, now it is
a city museum. Of course, we visited museum. And after that, climb on top of the wall. View
from there is remarkably. You can see
all town and harbor. And of course you can walk all around the wall.
