Tankerton sea front
Well today was wet and windy but I needed a trip to a local beach to collect some stones for our brownie meeting. So after Sam's morning at nursery we went to get Grandma for our afternoon adventure. We were off to Tankerton on the coast near Whitstable. Our journey there involved us navigating a very large puddle - they latter closed the road due to flooding. This didn't deter us and on we went. When we arrived at Tankerton I parked the car and out we got. After spending the next few minutes putting on our many layers and waterproofs as well as hats, scaves and gloves off we went for our walk along the sea front and surprisingly we were not the only ones out there - people walking dogs, running and cycling could also be seen.
As we walked Sam and Grandma collected stones, while I pushed Ezri and headed towards a cafe. After our walk we decided a hot chocolate was called for and becuase Grandma had said something about ice-cream, that was what Sam wanted!! So in the warm, to dry off and warm up. As well as the drinks we also had chips - yum. Then it was time for home, after a quick stop at Tesco's for banana's.
We dropped my mum at her house and then went home to cook tea and wait for Pete to come home from work, A nice afternoon was had by us all, even the weather didn't really get us done!!
