On our way to Pisa through Cinque Terre and La Spezia

We left Verona in the morning to make our way to Pisa.  Bjoern suggested that we drive along the coast to make the journey more interesting.  We went through to Cinque Terre which is a stretch of rocky coastline which led to the town of La Spezia. There is a  beach here with very inviting crystal blue green sea.  We decided to spend an hour or so there and walked along the front and bought ourselves some ice- cream.  The beach was packed with sun-worshippers.

We left an hour later and made our way to to Pisa and arrived at Hotel Repubblica Marinara at 8pm (another really nice hotel which we got at a really good rate) .

In the evening we dined in a nearby restaurant called Capriccio.

Another great hotel with nice rooms. We managed to get a really good rate, paying what you would for a 3 star hotel.
Can check their webpage for offers or google the name and go through a booking operator where you might find a really good deal.
