I went to see a friend in Sweden for new year. I only had one week vacation and it was a hectic trip covering Sweden and Norway. I enjoyed a short day time and freezing cold winter! It was short and sweet!

Arrived at Gothernburg, went to Jonkoping

I've arrived at Gothernburg airportn and looked for immigration for a while. Then I found out that Sweden is EU country and I did immigration  at the airport in Paris. Wow Europe got to be really easy to get around! I met up with a friend half months after his leaving Japan!

I visited his home in Jonkoping whose name is like my name, Junko. I was excited to take a pic of a sign which has the name on it. It is a countryside but more houses and people are there than I expected. It is very european countryside. Nice nature,  nice scinery of houses, buildings and road, which make a little city. There is a lake nearby and it makes it more countryside. There are summer houses and most people in Sweden have it. It is like a dreaming slow life :)

I enjoyed many real Christmas trees here and there, went to a park to see outside displays about traditiona houses. Surprisingly, most houses made of wood, which makes the villedge looks prettier. And I liked each house chooses their own color so that there are many colors in a villedge. It is as if I were looking at a painting book for children.

Hi Junko....I was interested in your views on Jönköping, Sweden. My mom has friends there and I would like to visit them someday. Was it difficult to find transportation from Stockholm to Jönköping? Thanks for the info and have a great day!
