A sound in the night

What an amzing place Jerusalem was, looking back at that time i remember seeing people from many parts of the world and the markets where you could buy practically anything that you wanted.

The capital of the country and the largest city in both population and area. The city has a history like no other and goes way back to 4th millenium BCE. So just coming to a place like that is amazing and wouldn't mind going back at some point in life, but no rush there are so many other places to explore first:)

We found a hotel that had been a convent or something like that we were told and i slept pretty good there even if i heard some sound in the night. The next morning we were told there had been a bomb that had exploded so maybe the sound wasn't so odd after all but all was good and there were nothing holding us back to go outside and explore this historical place.

We went to the Old City of course which is divided into 4 quarters ; The Armenian, Jewish, Christian and the Muslim area. We walked through all the quarters but don't remember what they were like right now. My parents were doing some shopping and since i didn't have money i guess just watching they shop wasn't really exciting so i guess i understand what its like for my kids in a store if they don't have money hehehe.....Still, they were bargening with the store keeper and seemed to enjoy that. They bought something for me too but til this day i haven't got a clue where it went. Probably lost in all the cardboard boxes that were used for moving a great deal of times:) How ever we went to see the most sights and walked after my parents with my WALKMAN  sounding in my ear. Yes i had a walkman and i thought it was a cool one too hahaha Tapes and Walkman was the thing in the 80's and part of 90's. Don't recall when the mp3 etc arrived but hey walkman was IT at those times, but yes it took a lot of space compare to an ipod:)Glad some things change :)
