Christmas in Israel with my family visiting some friends of my parents working and living there. Before the digital camera...LOL These photos have been scanned from negatives...

Christman in Nahariya

Nahariya is located in the northern district of Israel just south of the Lebanese border. The city has a population of 50 000 people so its not the largest town in Israel but probably not the smallest either:) Nahariya was founded by German Jewish immigrants.

Here we spent out christmas Swedish family that were friends of my dad. On christmas i went down to the sea ( the mediterranean sea) and went for a swim and enjoy the day in general. It felt great to wake up to a christmas without snow for a change then again i guess i would have been a little surprised it there had been a blizzard outside the door. i can't say i remember much from this place except the sea since we didn't really spend that much time there. I still hadn't tried proper food  in Istrael so this was something i was looking forward too for sure. I love trying new dishes around places i go to and this was no exception to the rule.
