So we made our way to the rental car line and waited for our shuttle to the "Payless car rental service". Even though the place was not at the airport I have to say that you can't beat that price and the shuttle driver was really nice. So was the other personal once we got to the place. It's really only 10 minutes from the airport and did I mention they are cheap?? hehe
So my hubby got talked into a "special military discount" which ended up costing more then what I had reserved via Expedia.
So we were all settled into our rental and got on the road. We had brought our GPS from home cause you never know how easy you can get lost or need something... like an ATM. hehe That's a story that comes just in a few seconds.
So we are on the highway towards 95 south and got to one of the Toll booths. Ah, yes. Bring small change or any kind of cash with you!! Cause we didn't have any! (I spent my last $5 for the metro ride to Reagan airport) So the nice toll both guy let us dig for some kind of cash for what seemed like 5 minutes, while the cars lined up behind us. You would think that someone would give you 75 cents so you can get out of their way. lol ( I surely would have done that!) Then he told us just to go on with a smile and a "It's ok".
So in comes the our star GPS, which told us where to find the nearest ATM which was about 20 miles out of our way in the Florida wilderness. lol (I wasn't laughing then) Well, at least I got some lunch out of the extra trip!)
The rest of the ride was without anymore incidents, except that the GPS brought us to the back gate of the gated community that my sister in law lives in. So another 20 minutes went by until we remember the way from 2 years ago.
10 minutes after arriving, hugs and kisses I was already chilling in the pool with my sis in law serving me grapes and all the other healthy stuff she makes us eat. (Nah, she's great!) So tomorrow it's off to MIAMI!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
