they are similar ... this is a simple comparison to note the main
differences between these two islands. One should choose the best choice
Phuket is significantly larger than Koh Samui ... You can see all places in Samui easily though it's difficult in Phuket.
Phuket has more visitors and thus it is more active from touristic point of view.
Nightlife in Phuket is more active and lasts until morning.
The weather is slightly better in Koh Samui.
Beaches in Koh Samui are cozy places for relaxing while they have all opportunuties for water sports.
