After getting out of the Lidl, I started hitching and luckely within 2 rides I was in the vicinity of Maastricht. I simply then walked to Maarten's place (HC: maarten73) where I would stay for the coming 2 nights. He also received the package of overload luguage I gave to Maikel when he left Warsaw after the Winter camp, so I could take it and bring it over to Brussels where all my stuffs are.
We talked the whole evening, enjoying some drinks and having a really good talk. He is really an open-minded and lay back person it was nice, calm and joyful.
Having a short snack before getting to sleep.
Tomorrow, we will do a dinner and we invited Dylan over through email.
Damn, I woke up sooooo late (a custom for me.
I prepared myself to go out and walk a bit in Ceramique district, also to find a shop to buy some dutch goodies to bring back to England (peanut butter, stroopwaffels, frietsaus, saté saus). I did some pictures of the city and riverside before coming back home when it was dark and getting more chilly.
Maarten had started to cook and it looked wonderfully tasty!
It was lasagna and couscous... wow (it was actually wonderfully delicious!)
I helped with cleaning a bit the dishes before the guests arrive. Asiaichris arrived and helped me as well, then Dylan came as well as another girl. We had a great meal with great talk. Later we spent the evening in the living room discussing and listening to Maarten playing the piano.
Dylan stayed overnight, he hasn't got his paper to work yet... even if his visa should allow him to. shitty situation for him.
I got up late again, just after Dylan left. I spent some time in front of the computer and then needed to hurry to be back in Brussels on time while it was daylight. So I grabbed my things and walked out of Maastricht, which took long as well. I started to hitch along a local road, which was finally just next to the border. I managed to get a ride until near Lummen, then to Diest and Leuven before finally catching my last ride to the northern ring of Brussels.
