The flying journey back

I didn't get too much sleep as I had all my bag to pack and especially loads of paper work to do before getting to the plane. So that was stress as time was running out.
I finally chose for a light bag and brought my backpack back to Europe with only one t-shirt and 2 cans of maple syrup in it. All that as a check-in!
That looks funny for a long-hauled flight.
Then in the morning, we woke up quietly and prepared to go to the airport. It was nice because it was nearby, but my parents could be so slow that they didn't realise at what time I needed to be checkin-in. But luckely we managed to see my brother shortly before I left, then not long after I was boarding the tiny embraer flight which took off shortly after giving a nice view of Quebec city's surrounding and the St-Lawrence on this Sunny Autumn Sunday morning.
More than an hour later we were circling over New York and shortly after, landing at Newark Liberty. I had about 3-4 hours to kill at Terminal C before boarding my flight to Brussels.
I finally decided to sit down next to my gate and wait... the flight was finally more crowded than my prior flight a week earlier.
Sadly, the plane wasn't as high-tech as it was when I flew from Brussels, so it was deceiving and annoying. I couldn't watch whatever I wanted when I wanted... so it was worth trying to sleep on this overnight fly.
